For once, Frampton can enjoy being alone. His close friends, flatmates and fellow fighters Conrad Cummings and Steven Ward haven’t returned to camp just yet. Isolation can be hard to find for a man so venerated in his home country of Northern Ireland.“I have a big security guard who helps me sometimes when I go to events and I must be his worst nightmare,” Frampton laughs. “He’s trying to get me to things on time and I just can’t let people down. If I see someone wanting a picture or an autograph, I’ve got to go over. I just can’t say no. I always want to treat people the right way.
