Pat McCormack has become the 11th British boxer to qualify for the Rio Olympics after his victory in the qualifying tournament in Baku on Thursday.
The Birtley 21-year-old won his light-welterweight quarter-final against Hassan Amsil of France to guarantee a place alongside his 10 previously qualified team-mates.
Victory was third time lucky for McCormack, who had missed out in his two previous attempts to reach Rio via the World Championships and a qualifier in Turkey earlier this year.
Sunderland welterweight Josh Kelly was due to bid to become Britain's 12th and final boxing qualifier later on Thursday.
